In 2014, Lithos Spices sold a limited volume of organic Black Pepper,
Panniyur variety. Volumes will increase in 2015.
Organic Certificate
After harvesting, the Black Pepper is flash steamed,
then dried for seven days on raised beds under Poly Tunnel Solar Dryers (PTSD).
This drying system is dust- insect- rodent- Aves- and UV- proof.
It guarantees a high quality product.
After processing, the Pepper is packed in single layer PP bags and stowed in 20 ft containers.
